I think it could be fun if a few people I know joined in with comments and things. I quite like the idea of combining social internet thingies with live TV events. I’ve had a lot of fun chatting with someone on Facebook during a football match, for instance, and I usually have a Twitter or FriendFeed search running when I’m watching the Formula One, just to see what people are saying.
I don’t know if this is the right tool for the job, though, because it doesn’t come with a ready-made community. I would need to do the hard work of getting people to join in.
Ah – now I see your “heh” may have been referring to my (correct) prediction.
