Michael Moore

People keep telling me how much they enjoyed or are enjoying this or that Michael Moore book. And I keep having to educate them. Most of what he says in his books and documentaries is rhetoric. It’s all about effect. It’s either not researched or deliberately distorted. But don’t just take my word for it.

Bowling for Columbine debunked:
Documentary Or Fiction? by David T. Hardy.
Michael Moore’s Columbine Gutterballs by Larry Pratt.
The Moore The Scarier by Debbie Schlussel.
Viewer Beware by Ben Fritz.

As Michael Jennings wrote, “If you have enjoyed Michael Moore, then try Brink Lindsey. He’ll help you get over it.”

Even if 10 % of his info were totally right (you can use the references at the end of the book to check yourself), it would be enough to make it worth reading. It is sad if you believe everything people write or say (remember 45 minutes …).
Why are some people so naive, that they can’t see the obvious ? Sometimes it is not anymore a matter of thinking right or left, but just a matter of being open mind. Politic is not religion … so don’t be brain wash !

The point is most people believe everything Michael Moore says. Most people don’t bother to check the references. I’ve provided links to some people who have. The balance needs to be redressed, especially with such a top selling author.

Having large numbers of people going around taking everything Moore says at face value, is frankly scary.
